About HQ Racing

"Affordable Excitement"

HQ Racing is a circuit racing class which has been running since the first official race meeting in October 1988 at Baskerville Tasmania. This form of racing has become hugely popular due to the low cost of entry into circuit racing with the term "affordable excitement" coined for exactly what it is. With the controlled regulations, the HQ class has grown strongly throughout Australia and New Zealand. In recent years HQ racing has put together a very successful national series running under the Shannon Nationals as well as the added bonus of racing at the World renown Bathurst Mt Panaroma circuit supporting the Bathurst 12 Hour in February.
